The Reclaimed Tote

Foundation Chamar invited 66 designers to use discarded textile and fabric scraps from their studios to make tote bags for “The Reclaimed Tote” a fundraising project curated by Farah Siddiqui Khan. The project was designed to present a very special, limited-edition collection of totes designed by the finest designers in the fashion industry and handcrafted by the artisans of Chamar Studio. Proceeds from the fundraiser went to support leather working artisans from the Chamar community affiliated with Chamar Studio. The project was made possible with the support of Natasha Mehta, Namrata Zakaria, Tina Tahiliani Parikh, Ensemble India and Aishwarya Subramanyam.
